In Jumac Fusion Izakaya you will enjoy the drinks and at the same time the food combination of Japanese and Korean dishes.
Last Saturday, September 22, #TeamDDI were invited to taste the menu at Jumac Fusion Izakaya.
PLACE
The decor inside is modern with mix traditional design. Looks very chic. Interior is okay, it is better than the cheesy Korean interior many restaurants have here in Davao City.
FOOD
The food serve was fresh and tasty piping hot. Our servers were prompt, non-fussy and really helpful when we are asking for the name of the dishes serve to us.
If you're a first timer and need some advice on how to eat the food, I recommend that you go on a quieter weeknights so you get the lovely staff's or with the energetic owner Mr. Ronnie Kim undivided attention.
Historically speaking, it's said that this two cultures often share common Chinese roots in cooking food. Both Chinese and native Korean influences are said to have been transmitted to Japan in ancient time. On the other hand, if you are fond of watching KDramas (like me) especially the historical dramas, you will understand and learned at the same time that the Japanese colonial period heavily affected Korean customs in the 20th century - especially the food and the drinks.
So, if you're looking for an authentic Korean venue that serves a spicy meal that include Japanese dishes with a friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend R&S Jumac Fusion Izakaya.
***They also sell KIMCHI per kilo.
